Running shoe built for the neutral to under-pronator who requires an enhanced cushioning. Traditional fit, feel and function are common denominators found in the Gel-Equation 2. Compression molded EVA midsole provides shock attenuation throughout the gait cycle. SpEVA is a proprietary midsole material that improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown. ASICS Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System is strategically placed at high impact areas in the rearfoot for shock absorption. Trusstic System exists as a molded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. Links the rearfoot and forefoot and shores the midfoot. AHAR Heel Plug (High Abrasion Resistant rubber) has been added to critical areas of the outsole for increased durability.
