Awarded the prestigious Runner's World Best Update for June 2004, the Grid Omni 4 sports a supportive heel strike with a flexible and responsive forefoot and is available in varying degrees of stability. Moderate Stability uses a responsive EVA base with a firm, stabilizing 2nd density post to provide a light, flexible and stable ride. Multiple density compression molded EVA midsole provides cushioning and comfort. Uni-Directional Mesh in the heel area of the collar lining to prevent heel slippage. Blown, XT-900 and XT-1200 Carbon Rubber Outsole for increased durability and lightweight flexibility. Open-weave mesh for increased breathability. 3M reflective material for night visibility. Visible Grid System provides superior cushioning and stability by centering the heel on impact. Forefoot HRC (High Rebound Compound) provides cushioning through the later stages of the gait cycle. Midfoot Support Bridge keeps the foot neutral in the midfoot phase of the gait cycle. Designed for mild to moderate over-pronators. Shoe weighs 11.8 oz.
